Why, you may ask?

Well, often times, the books are delivered to me in less-than-pristine condition and I do not feel right charging full price for them. Bent and scratched covers, damaged spines, strange markings. That being said, the damage is all superficial and the stories inside are intact—there's no reason these misfit books can't also find new loving homes!  

If you order a book from this section of my website, there WILL be slight damage to the covers. This is the reason for the discounted rate. I will not send out any book with serious damage though (ie, ripped covers), so rest assured that any bangs and bruises your book has will be minimal.
