Into the Foxhole was a beautiful read 📚! The poetically written metaphors painted such detailed pictures. As the previous person said, I was able to self reflect through the lense of this world, Jane's mind. I am grateful. Thank you!

as the title says this is a positive book, about the people we know and the connections we make.
the book may be for older kids, but the message that one gets from it is that we all deserve to be happy and have friends.
the artwork is amazing, and I am a fan of the author and have bought other titles from her.
she has talent and a positive attitude in her books. this title teaches kids and adults that though friendships are amazing and uplifting we do have issues that we can get through if we stay true to ourselves.

Really connected with this book. The poems reached into me and brought me to a point of reflection. Truly gifted.

I ENJOYED READING THIS BOOK, THE FLYING, THE DIVING, THE PIRATES, THE GEARS, EMMELINE'S FAMILY, CLOSE FRIENDS AND OF COURSE LOUIE. I FOUND MYSELF EAGERLY FLIPPING PAGES to discover the new setting, new characters. I feel like I just read a star wars trilogy I can hardly wait for the book.

Blue spots is not Only a children’s book, It’s soup for the soul.

As a man whose broken hearts, promises and vows and who has had the same done to him, I keep this book of poems close, next to the Bible I read daily, it is a solace as well as parallel of my life experiences. Reading it brings waves of yesterday's lost and want of gain today. Simply put, the author's travel photos and words on paper resonate hope in its fullest and deepest sense. Highly recommend a read through not just once but over and over again.

This book was bought for my niece, she loved it, and so did it, the lesson of the book, and what we all should appreciate in what we have and who we are made it such a good read and lesson. the pictures were beautiful and such talent in the author and artist. i love to be able to see such a positive lesson for not just kids who may read this but for anyone who does it too.

this is nicoline's signature story book. excellent writing!! i'd suggest referencing the trading cards as an illustrative reminder of the names and traits of the champions when reading their dialogue with our lead character, juniper. i absolutely enjoyed reading this book.

done. 430 pages. Amazing book. started it confused and curiously got into it; loving the characters, ended it crying. i haven't willingly picked up a book in a while but i could not put this one down. Thank you for getting me back into reading.

I purchased the ‘spots’ series for my nephew and nieces... i can’t promise i won’t keep them for myself! Lol as i have heard the author mention, she wanted to create children’s books that adults would actually enjoy reading and sharing with their child. Well, i think it’s ’mission accomplished.’ Great quality in the storytelling, the images, even the quick and beautiful packaging and shipping. Look forward to ordering a few of your YA and ‘grown-up’ books soon.

GRAY SPOTS IS THE SECOND IN THIS SERIES OF CHILDREN'S BOOKS. WHILE BLUE SPOTS TACKLED SADNESS AND GRIEF, GRAY SPOTS FOCUSES ON FEAR, ANXIETY, AND BULLYING. I CAN REALLY APPRECIATE THE INTENT OF THE MESSAGES BEING SENT IN THESE TWO BOOKS BACK TO BACK. I DEFINITELY FEEL IT RESONATES IN TODAY'S WORLD AND YES I REALIZE THESE ARE CHILDREN'S BOOKS, BUT SOMETIMES ADULTS NEED REMINDING AND CAN BENEFIT GREATLY AS WELL FROM READING SUCH BOOKS WITH THEIR CHILDREN. THIS BOOK SERVES NOT ONLY AS A REMINDER, BUT A CALL OF INSPIRATION TO CONQUER YOUR FEARS OR WHATEVER MIGHT BE CAUSING YOUR ANXIETY. IT ALSO PROMOTES AN ANTI-BULLYING STANCE AND FOR PEOPLE TO COME TOGETHER TO DEFEND THOSE WHO NEED DEFENDING, WHICH I FEEL IS EVEN MORE IMPORTANT IN TODAY'S SCHOOLS ESPECIALLY WITH THE PRESENCE OF CYBER BULLYING. AGAIN, I THINK IT IS very IMPOrtant for children and teens to realize that there is life beyond their current situation or current state that may exist in their school. It does get better and it is so beneficial to have a positive thought process. I believe it is also just as important to be surrounded with positive energy that exude from family, true friends, and a faith network to help oneself deal and get through their anxiety, fear, or bullying issues. I personally enjoyed this book even more than the first one, and the reference to comic book superheroes.

Blue Spots is a wonderful work of art with an important message that benefits not only children, but perhaps adults even more so. it describes a critical first step in identifying and dealing with sadness as a normal human emotion. everyone has dealt with various degrees of grief that life throws at us, but a major part of the grieving process is how we ultimately deal with it and work our way through it. this children's book is a good first step into learning about sadness and a reminder to all ages that things can and will get better! I feel we must have that belief of hope and have an eye looking toward the future to ensure we do not wallow in sorrow. Ultimately i think grief, sadness, or sorrow is a part of life that we experience, but it should not rule our life. I know this can DEFINITELY be easier said than done, and i think nicoline would PROBABLY agree. She implies, HOWEVER, tHAT GETTING THROUGH THAT ORDEAL CAN HELP US BECOME STRONGER AND MAKE IT BECOME A LEARNING EXPERIENCE THAT CAN TURN INTO A POSITIVE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AS IT IS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN AND UNIQUELY ILLUSTRATED.

Purple spots is a wonderful children's book explaining the importance of kindness and acceptance. It emphasizes how everyone's differences make the world a more beautiful place. Purple spots shows children how to have compassion and that words can hurt. It projects love and kindness with alluring illustrations of what happens when we lose our purple spots. My four year old loves this story and I adore it's message of kindness.
